Who Is Behind This Site

Short version: my name is Dirk, I'm based in Belgium, and I build this site on my own. There is no company behind it and no team — just one person who got tired of online guides that explain a topic at you and leave you no further along than before.

Why this site exists

Most how-to content has the same problem. It tells you about a subject, it reads well, and when you close the tab you still can't do the thing. What's missing is structure: a clear outcome, a first step small enough that you actually take it, and some way of knowing whether you've got there.

So every guide here is built to a fixed shape. Each chapter names one outcome in the form of "I can…", opens with a starting action that takes under twelve minutes, gives you the minimum you genuinely need to know rather than everything that could be said, works through one real example, and ends with a checklist and exercises you do with your own material. Nothing is padded to look thorough.

How the guides are made

The guides are written with the help of AI, using a structured prompt framework I built and refined myself — the Self-Directed Learning Framework. That framework is not a secret: it's published in full on the C.R.A.F.T. page, along with the exact prompt that generated this library, so you can use the same method on your own topics.

Every guide is reviewed before it goes up. Where a topic touches money, health or the law, the guide sticks to structure and explicitly tells you to get qualified advice for the decisions themselves.

How it's paid for

Everything on this site is free, including the printable PDF of every guide. There's no paywall, no account, and no email required to download anything. The site is funded by advertising — two ad units per page, placed at natural reading breaks rather than in the middle of a sentence. That's the whole business model.
